Today, even though the weather was dull turned out to be one of the best days of my life. I was wondering in Norwich when I bumped in this Romanian authentic restaurant. Couldn't believe my eyes. Is a small and cosy place where you can taste a little bit of Romanian traditions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Didn't know what to eat first. I do recommend you everything and in special this delicious Romanian dish called 😍😍😍'Papanaș'😍😍😍. This food brought me back memories . Can't wait to go back.
This place offers excellent traditional Romanian food and the hospitality is great. You really get the taste of Romania as the name suggests. I will definitely visit again.
Delicious and authentic Romanian food close to the centre of Norwich. Friendly staff and very quick service. Good value for money, especially for the midweek set menu. Definitely try the ciorbe/soups! Can't wait to go back
Had a really nice meal and drink here. For dessert had the donut with sour cream and blueberry, which sounds like it would be weird, but was actually one of the best desserts I've ever had! Plus the dad and daughter that run the place were so friendly and nice. will definitely go again! I posted to facebook too but might as well post my review here as well.
My wife and I came by here to have a coffee and was tempted by the menu. We tried the Romanian omelette and that was so good!!! Nice outdoor seating area and really friendly staff. Theres a large selection of cakes, I'll swing by here one day after a cycle and give them a try for sure.
Clean toilets & tidily decorated inside, friendly staff and food was delicious & very filling. I would say the only downside is the location and the food service was a little bit slower than I would have expected but it was a Sunday and we weren't particularly in a rush so I can let that one go. Would definitely go back to try their desserts though - we were just too full this time!
Despite first night nerves and problems with the grill and ordering system, the staff did a brilliant job. The food was very tasty but I'd say more homely rather than top-class restauranty. That's in no way a bad thing: you'll really enjoy the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. I especially liked the blueberry Papanasi.
Edit: up'd to 5 stars as we went back and everything has been improved; service, presentation, quality of the food. Can't fault it.
Looks pretty on the outside with the flowers around the door and lights on the windows. Fancy on the inside as well, a mixture of traditional Romanian and contemporary style. Staff is super friendly, polite and helpful. There are fresh salads on the menu and the restaurant is vegetarian and vegan friendly. A good selection of traditional Romanian soups and meat dishes, grilled dishes as well as burgers and sides. For dessert you could try Romanian doughnuts called papanasi. Highly recommend this restaurant! Definitely will be back to try more delicious dishes from their menu.
Superb food, really good customer service. The lady went above and beyond trying to provide us with a desert we wanted but they had ran out. I didn't like that they have a TV which plays traditional music (it's a very Mediterranean thing I really dislike) but they turned it down when I asked. 5 stars, no question!
Had a great time here, me and my friends all loved it! Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and made us feel like we were actually on holiday. Really good atmosphere, will be visiting again and telling more people about this great find.
