What a phenomenal place.
Everything from decor, vibe, service and most importantly the food.
Meat is obviously the draw but the sides are not to be missed. Especially the soda bread starter with inked butter.
Wow wow wow.
Wished they where open all week and my stomach was bigger to eat more.

Best place I have eaten for a hot minute. Food was insane, staff were on top of everything and super friendly (felt like I was in my own home chilling with mates), atmosphere was incredible. Honestly the best restaurant we have walked into on a whim. 10/10 would recommend 👌🏼

We stumbled across this place on a date night after we had been for drinks in the bar found above it (Gonzos Tea Room). Having no idea what we were getting ourselves into we asked if they had a table for 2. To which they replied yes, at the chefs table. These seats were amazing to say the least. To be able to see the team working together in the open plan kitchen was a real treat. All the staff members were super friendly and made it their mission to make sure you fully understood the menu. The bar staff made amazing cocktails and were keen to impress with the variety on offer.
Hearing your food order get shouted out around the kitchen gives you goosebumps, as then you are able to watch the team slowly piece your order together like a work of art. If this was all they had to offer it would've been 10/10. But the team still went above and beyond. Upon completing the order the chef personally walked the food to us to present and describe the processes and ingredients behind each and everything on the plate. This really made you appreciate what you were being served. We went for the Japanese bread and oysters to start. Along with the 540g ribeye steak and sides to share as the main. All cooked and prepared to absolute perfection.
Not a bad word to say about this place, and my only regret is that I should have ordered more.
We will definitely be back.

The prime rib was amazing, the confit potatoes were exceptional, the wine pairings were considered and faultless and the Bloody Mary oyster appetiser was so good we ordered again.
Service - brilliant
However, after a five star visit the doughnut pushed us over the edge. Would give seven stars if possible.

We had the Chefs complimentary table where we could observe the cooking process. Outstanding experience and as its on the first floor although it's a little harder to find it's certainly worth it.
The bar staff a massively knowledgeable and have a wide array of drinks to help you to enjoy. And the food was flawless and presented by the Chef himself.

Starter : Goat 🐐 taco 🌮, lime pickled onions, chimichurri mayo
Mains : Pork chop, katsuoboshi, fennel gravy
: Mutton chop with parsley and anchovy sauce
Sides : Ember mash, bone marrow butter, chicken skin crumb
: Coffee kombucha carrots, fermented carrot, wild garlic (this was really surprisingly amazing)
Dessert: Brix brownie, seabuckthorn custard, burnt banana ice cream.
10/10 i highly recommend!

Wonderful evening! When you find a place where everyone is truly devoted to their craft, it never disappoints. That’s what we found at Brix and Bones. From the start of our experience at Gonzo’s Tea Room (downstairs), to the end of our amazing dining experience at Brix and Bones, the staff were second to none, and the food and drinks were some for the memory books. Pictured here, and all incredible: The Bloody Mary oysters, cabbage with lardo, mackerel (which I don’t like and it was still delicious), monkfish bites with crab Mayo, beautifully cooked ribeye, and mutton tacos. OMG can’t wait to find an excuse to go again!

Quite simply amazing. Great food, brilliant atmosphere and fab staff to match.
It’s not cheap but you won’t find that level of service or quality of food elsewhere.
