We had our wake here for my father in law and all I can say is that’s it is an amazing place, with great food and ambiance, everyone commented on the amazing food and service. Thank you all who helped us make a sad day, wonderful. All correspondence and interactions were efficient and productive, working with us all the time to get what we wanted to celebrate our final goodbye. The staff are amazing and the food and place is nothing more than astounding. Everyone that attended today will definitely be coming back for the food and ambiance. What a lovely place to be right in the middle on Nottingham, what more could you ask for. Thank you Homemade. x

Went to check out their new extension and it's lovely and cosy.
We had their brunch menu.
Eggy Bread and Bacon £7.50
Smoked Salmon & scrambled egg £8.75
Service was very friendly and efficient.
Will have to bring our dogs next time as they are a very doggy friendly place.

I take my family here as its very convenient for parking, the trams and also a little pick me up, before heading on the tram into the city centre. The staff have always given us a warm welcome and also the food is always great quality food options. They are also great as a caterer if booking the pavilion for an event, they always make sure any dietary requirements are an issue to be the norm

My go-to place for brunch and breakfast on the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre. Lovely location at The Forest park so plenty of parking or easy access to the tram. Perfect to have a bite to eat in a nice location, then nip into town.
I've only eaten breakfast or light bites here but I've never been disappointed and now you can order online so there's no queues as in previous years. The cafe has recently expanded inside and outdoors, the outdoor area is covered and has heaters so you can stay outside even in colder weather.
Very extensive menu with options for all dietary requirements and lots of delicious cakes and light bites to take away if you're in a hurry. Their picnic box looks fab too!

This was a nice little find after we made an unscheduled tram stop. Lovely little outdoor space near to a play area. Indoor seating overlooking the green space is also available. Nice relaxing vibe.

A coffee shop with English breakfast and nice coffee in the middle of a park, you can parking at it outside parking lot . Good view from the outside seating area. Good service and foods

Fabulously friendly and welcomed or dogs too.
Amazing cakes and pancakes.
Very nice coffee.
The cooked breakfast and burger we're rather pricey for what they were but tasted good.
The only real downfall was the service as the staff got very confused and failed to deliver everything. The customer service read excellent and I would go there again. Possibly mostly for cake! Incredible cake!

Cracking Cafe and Cakehouse by Forest Recreation Ground. They make a lovely grilled cheese sandwich which you can follow up with some delicious cake. Well worth popping in for a lunchtime treat.

So spacious, my nephew loved it and so did I. The food was so tasty, a little bit pricey but worth it for a treat! The staff are really nice and helpful. Lots of board games and activities for little ones and for adults too! Their vegan cake was delicious, a real hit with my nephew! I recommended Homemade to my sister and they really enjoyed their lunch here too!

I can honestly say that I'm shocked about how much the Hockley cafe has changed. I've been going there for several years but haven't been since the summer and after today I probably won't be going again unless someone kicks ass and people buck their ideas up!! When we arrived there was another couple in front of us, nothing new there, but none of the staff acknowledged us, no hello or offers of menus, in fact some of the staff looked bored, fed up and grumpy. The menu looks like it has changed for convenience and profit, not good when you've been known as the coolest place in town to eat, and worth waiting over half an hour for a table for. No made-to-order sandwiches, salads pre-made and barely anything worth eating, in fact my friend had to send her meal back it was that bad. And to top it off the girl at the counter said we didn't have to worry about paying for my friends meal after I paid for mine and our drinks. Too right as she didn't eat it! AND why the hell have you stopped doing your legendary wedges??? Standards haven't slipped, they've plummeted!!
A very, very disappointed ex-homemade fan!

Nice place, friendly staff but the food is really overly priced for what you get. £8 for a sandwich/salad which was really nothing special and small portions for the price. The salads look nice but were pretty tasteless. You’d expect a nice dressing on them too for that money! I don’t tend to review places but just felt really disappointed and a bit cheated leaving there after spending £26. Won’t be rushing back!

I'm a frequent visitor to The Pavilion cafe and always enjoy a warm welcome with my dog. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and has the cafe has hugely added to the park life vibe that is now in evidence at The Forest Recreation Ground.
I love the special offerings at the cafe when there are events at the park, and am impressed with the constant willingness to try out new ideas from Sunday roasts to Summer fish & chips with fizz evenings.
Keep up the good work! One request - homemade dog biscuits for the pooches!

Haven't been to Nottingham before, so found this by chance, had a cooked breakfast and it was lovely, would highly recommend :) xx

We were greeted by friendly staff as we walked through the door. Toasted ham & cheese sandwiches, lovely bread and served with a very nice side salad. Excellent coffee. The sandwiches were very filling but we battled on because we had every intention of trying the homemade pecan & maple leaf cake, so had one piece between us. Beautiful. We will definitely be calling in again.

Lovely place.....gorgeous latte and lovely friendly staff. The cakes look divine ....although i did resist the temptation

Smallest bowl of soup I've ever had, bread was stale, and why do place always only give one pat of butter. Wouldn't go back.

I've been many times and the cake is usually lovely. This time, found mouldy strawberries on the cake and dry sponge. Despite this, no response to my email, very disappointed

Was half arsed shown to a table not to be told we had to order at the counter, ignored by two servers, after waiting a long time for the cakes we ordered we asked at the counter to find they didn’t have what two of the three cakes we ordered so gave us a cash refund despite paying by card, good cake, WHACK service
