I always venture into this place after work in the very early hours. 5 strips for £3.50 absolute bargain. The staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend it. David.

Lovely place nice after a few pints . Not as good deals on just eat as the shop itself more dearer. Plus bucket chicken deals less chicken and costs more . Food quality is very good never had a problem here

I've been a customer at Maryland Chicken on Lower Parliament St. for ten years, and not once have I ever had a bad meal here. In fact, I feel confident in saying that this establishent is the best fried chicken shop in U.K., let alone Nottingham.
A frequent buyer of the meal that includes five chicken strips, chips and a soft/still drink, I can confirm that the chicken has always delivered through its succulent flavour, while the chips raise the bar in size, shape and taste.
I left Nottingham to live in Leeds for three years in 2012, and on my travels in the North I failed to find a fried chicken shop that could provide real value for money on fried chicken meals – and I promise you, I did try.
Now living in London, the thought of visiting Nottingham excites me each time because, aside from seeing friends and family, on the top of my list is visiting Maryland Chicken.
I may have changed from the unsteady journey from teenager to adult, but that great Maryland taste hasn't left my mouth, and neither will the memories.
