We had the tasting board, had the fondue (huge portion!), and 2 hot chocolates (also massive!). The tasting board was really interesting and came with a tasting wheel notes to guide our thoughts and comments on the different chocolates. Really big variety of chocolates and challenged our taste buds!

A lovely little place! The hot chocolates here are to die for! They’re proper and what a hot chocolate should be like! There is a fantastic outdoor area that overlooks the fields. Great for a sunny day! The staff are lovely and pleasant. The place itself is wonderful. The food is also great. We had panini’s and they was delicious!

The staff were all so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. They had passion and genuine interest in the products they are selling. The chocolate is also absolutely fantastic and the chocolate tasting plater was a really interesting experience. I will without doubt be recommending sarsfields and returning numerous times in the future A real must for chocolate lovers

Lovely little cafe with a great selection of chocolate options along with a good lunch menu with plenty of options. Around £10 for most of the food options, and about £5 for an incredible hot chocolate! Highly recommend visiting. We got a flatbread and a fondue to share and it was plenty for a light lunch. Only 11 tables, so I'd recommend booking through their site (email from at the bottom) Parking is free and on-site, however there are limited spaces. Farm shop is available next to the car park as well.

If, like me, you like your walk to include a cake & coffee stop, then this wonderful tearoom is worth a visit. Four of us stopped here yesterday before a lovely autumnal walk around Hickling & Kinoulton. There is seating inside and out with a relaxing view of the countryside. It’s beautifully decorated, has super-friendly staff and serves tasty coffee (we all had Americano). So many delicious looking homemade cakes made our decision difficult. We opted for chocolate (x2), walnut & coffee, and carrot cake. All of them were yummy and gave us the energy we needed for the 5-mile walk ahead. The complementary hand-made chocolates were amazing and a lovely touch. We’ll definitely head back for the afternoon tea as it looked delicious. The place is a chocolate lovers heaven - and sells great chocolate gifts. There’s no such thing as too much chocolate ... well worth a visit.

Absolutely brilliant cafe. First visit & the staff could not have been more helpful. Our Border Collie is not dog friendly, so we had to have our food by our car. The staff were really helpful & brought everything to us, even tho we were in the car park. Will definitely be going back. If I could I would give em a 10 out of 10.

Looking for a non-pub non-generic lunch on a Sunday in rural Notts en route was a challenge, but we stumbled upon Sarsfield’s and were delighted. We had quiches, baguettes and shared a couple of cream teas, all tasty and eaten on the deck overlooking a field and rolling countryside. Our dog nestled quietly at our feet. Wish they hadn’t run out of the Stilton quiche, as it’s the local cheese!

Well what a find!! We live locally and never knew we had this on our doorstep. Staff were very welcoming and definitely recommend the coffee and cake, oh and of course the chocolate is divine. Plenty of seating inside with aircon and a lovely decking area if you want to sit outside and enjoy the sun, with some comfy chairs which we took advantage of. A thoroughly enjoyable morning due to the pleasantness of the staff and will definitely be returning!!
