The White Lion is one of those gem of a pub that are now so hard to find. With its friendly atmosphere and superbly cooked food it ticks all the boxes for a amazing evening out. A special thanks to the chef who cooked my steak to perfection

We were working in the area and called in as I’d looked at reviews and they’d seemed good! The food was absolutely beautiful with really good portion sizes! I had 8oz steak and my colleague had the garlic chicken breast! Both were really well cooked and presented. Will be going again tomorrow

Stopped off for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal. We would highly recommend and will definitely return. Staff were great and they made our dog welcome too.

We walked up from the canal all hot and tired, and we're so glad we had made the effort! The food was great,, the beer really hit the spot, and the staff were so helpful and lovely. And there are donkeys to stroke! Amazing pub, would definitely come back next time we boat the Montgomery

Pleasantly surprised. The decor and atmosphere was top notch, really nicely fitted out. The food was great too, lots of nite at a good price. We don't live locally, so sadly won't be able to go back any time soon.

Lovely atmosphere. Very nice old school background music. Were informed by the staff about food delay, in the end food arrived faster than we expected.
Nice design, everything is clean and tidy.
Ladies room had some necessary ladies things too.
Would highly recommend.
