Splendid old fashioned pub with great pies. The garden is beautiful and a must to visit in the summer. Been here many time and always happy to come back.

Always a warm welcome at this treasure of a pub. We're so lucky that we live in walking distance. Service is excellent, definitely worth booking if you want to eat. Food is always good and plenty of people visiting so there's always a nice atmosphere. Prices are what to expect in Oxford for a very well run pub. We like the pub garden in particular as we stop off during our dog walks.

Lovely rural pub, pleasant and helpful staff. Nice food and a gorgeous pub garden! It’s a shame they don’t have a car park as trying to find appropriate parking where you don’t have to risk a ticket was difficult but I would say it’s worth the trip and maybe a little walk depending on where you park.

A quaint pub right beside the hospital. Wonderful place to read a book or have a chat with friends. Highly recommend the outdoor garden, if it’s sunny.

Lovely place. It's difficult to understand from outside how spacious the pub is. There is a wonderful garden area at the back. Indoor and outdoor seating both available.
One of the few pubs in the locality. And the locality is beautiful. It's on a beautiful stretch of road.
I liked the ambience. Decent crowd.
I tried their craft cider which was delicious.
I haven't tried the food but my friend says the pies are yummy. So, definitely will try that next time.
