Been here many times. The food is perfect and the staff are friendly and very good at their job. It has a warm welcoming feeling and I definitely recommend this place as a go too for food, drinks and a wonderful atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliant and attentive bar staff! Layout is perfect for having a variety of atmospheres. Had a meal here, and although the food was good, I discovered that it came from a main kitchen in the main building. It was uncovered on its path and lukewarm when it arrived. Otherwise, it's an excellent pub for pub grub!

Good food friendly staff .Quiet when we called in for lunch. Fairly limited menu but what there was nice .I had the cajun chicken burger with french fries and salad I chose to have it without the bun - the salad was 1 lettuce leaf and two slices of tomato so not what Iconsider a salad . I had read a previous review which said the carpet put them off their meal , whilstbit could certainly do with a shampoo I have seen much worse .On the plus side Simon the barman was really helpful and friendly .

Lovely place to take the family for a pint and food any time of day. The pub / restaurant is part of a hotel spa setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very nice although expensive compared to other venues in the area however quality is higher here. The only grumble which effects the 5 stars is the carpet in the restaurant which is in desperate need of replacement resulting in the experience of eating not being pleasant. The pub itself would be a lovely place to sit and eat on a cold winters day.

A lovely mother's day treat from my son, we had a friendly waiter who was very busy, the food was utterly delicious. We shall be back soon.

Omg. What can I say. Simply amazing. The staff are really helpful and friendly with all the knowledge you need from the kitchen. I'm an awkward vegetarian and always seem to struggle with things like chips being fried in the same oil as the fish /chicken or meat. By sheer surprise, they carter for vegetarian, vegan and gluten intolerant customers with a passionate and caring understanding. SUPER RARE!!!! The food was made to a high standard. Full of flavour and really good sized portions. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back when I'm in the area.I

Really nice and cosy. Full of character. Great selection of drinks, especially gin and rum. Amazing, Friendly staff. One especially who helped us try several varieties of gin. All for free, it was an absolutely brilliant touch of customer service and really helpful. Great food menu with selection of nibbles up to full dinners. Plenty of parking available and decent outside area when the sun is shining.

We booked here as we had a party of 13 adults and children and were accommodated really well as a whole group . Service was brilliant, the restaurant was not busy but as family with 4 children under 6 that was probably a bonus ! Food good, shame weather meant we couldn't explore the vast child friendly play area but maybe we'll be back for that !
