Really friendly pub with lovely food and lovely people! The fish and chips were some of the best fish and chips we've ever had. It's dog friendly too which was perfect, I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're doing the coastal walk through Wembury
Lovely pub, beautiful view of the see. Good food and nice pint
A stunning local pub with amazing views, delicious menu (lunch, dinner & snacks) friendly staff and a lush outdoor terrace overlooking Haybrook Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. If you want an indoor table at the weekend you must book in advance, even out of season, this place is very popular for good reason.
Lovely dog friendly pub with fantastic view from the terrace. Service was great and food really nice. Highly recommend!
Lovely outdoor seating area with view of the sea. Perfect sun spot
Stopped in here after walking from Wembry to Heybrook Bay on a very chilly day. From first walking in to leaving was a lovely experience. Very warm coming in due to the fire burning. Very welcoming atmosphere with dogs welcome. Staff were very polite. Price was very reasonable. We had the Eddy Burger. Was absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend going here whether it's stopping for some lunch after a walk or even just going out for a meal.
Booked in advance, an hour before. We sat at a lovely table, really nice sea views and had fish and chips. Tasty food and service was fast. Queue to order was a bit slow as there is only one person at the till doing both ordering and drinks. Suggest to use a handy app to order and pay for food to avoid crowding in the queue.
We always have family catch ups and reunions here, great views, great light, fab service and good food, of which there is great choice, followed by a walk. Whats not to love?
Nice food, shame about the wait, visited twice, first time an hour and a half wait, second time (despite asking if there would be a long wait because of our last visit) an hour!
Having said that, staff were great and views were amazing so if you have time to wait then this is a must!
We can recommend the food. It was very tasty if a tad expensive. £17 for pie and mash.......
Think about booking because most / all tables inside were reserved. Therefore, they don't really need passing trade.
We just turned up. We felt a little awkward as it was clear the bookings came first.
Wouldn't visit again due to this.
