Superb fish and chips, generous helpings and the shop is pristine. I haven't rated the 'Atmosphere' highly as this isn't a restaurant, but the staff are always welcoming and efficient. Food is always fresh and tasty.

Good honest Fish and Chips served very efficiently by a room full of rapid cooks and assistants and counter staff.. All very friendly and smiles. Very fast turnaround and the portions are generous.

Nearly there with the food, I had cod n chips & chips with savaloy & curry sauce. A bit to much on the greasy side for my taste on the chips, on the plus side large chip portion. And only other negative £19, I know everything is very pricey at the moment but just a little steep.

Always good service. Prices much higher now. Note - 1 large portion of chips weighs about a kilo and would feed a family of 5!

If you want a fish and chip shop that tops taste and portion size for that epic treat.... Then look no further than Francies. It doesn't just supply the local community and passers by, it supply the dockyard and many other working companies in the area. Not just amazing food but service too, not many food sellers can be more than just a shop but this is.

Working away in Plymouth this weekend from Birmingham. Thought I’d try this place out, food was served fresh and it tastes fresh. The had a promotion on which they offered me, after a large fish and chips I can barely move so I refused the promotion.,Thank you for the hospitality and lovely food.
