Food and atmosphere is great! Fried breakfast and cafe food simple and just done really really well. Friendly people and community feel. Definitely recommend
Really great breakfast, I've eaten in almost every place in Plymouth City Center that serves an English breakfast over the years and this is one of the best. It was only £7 for the breakfast plus £1.50 for a drink which in my opinion was great value as the the sausages were really nice, as was the bacon and it's hard to fund a decent hash brown but these ones were up to scratch. The only fault, if you wanna call it that was that the beans were cold, not an issue as I obviously still ate them, but that's the only thing I'd say, probably an oversight as it was so busy there today. We did end up with a portion of chips for free as they brought them to the wrong table, I did tell them but they said to have them anyway. We'll definitely be back, just a shame it's taken me this long to go in the place as I walk past it most days. Would definitely recommend the breakfast here (they sell other food too but can't comment as not tried it, yet!) The staff were super friendly too which is a plus.
Edit: There seems to be a new family that have literally taken uo residence in this place. The parent just sits there ALL DAY while she let's her 3 years old child child run around and bother every single customer. The child helps herself to food off of your plate, has spilt a drink on us and constantly bothers my 3 children to the point they start crying! The child had a viral infection too which the mother knew about as she was the one that said about it and my child was subsequently hospitalised 3 days later because of the viral infection that was passed on to my child.
AVOID this place like the plague if you value your children's health!!!!!!
Funny wacky bunch there, very polite barmaid who makes some beautiful cocktails for someone who's only been there for a few weeks. And an absolutely smashing and affordable bun to go with it.
I'll be back :)
Great food, at a good price. Nice large space with plenty of seating. Staff are absolutely welcoming and helpful.
All day breakfast brilliant, eat inside or outdoors, be even better when the council finish their renovations, but they don't interfere with the outdoor tables.
Friendly people, delicious food. definitely 5 star.
Wifey spotted this place.
Bar staff was extremely polite and friendly. There was only one lady by the bar and one person in the kitchen but no delays and before we knew we had our order on the table.
Great burgers selection, reasonable prices, quick and polite service. 7 guys ordered before us and we still didn't wait longer than 20 min.
As far as cocktails go - two mojito's for £7 but they weren't as nice as food.
Overall great place for food, nice atmosphere.
Discovered this little gem, could easily be missed due to the franchise coffee outlets either side of it.
I ate in early on a Wednesday evening. Was the only person in there.
Ordered Classic Roast Hog, pulled pork and apple sauce in a very large bun, sweet potato fries that were cooked just right ( not many places manage that) and the jalapenos poppers. These unfortunately popped all over my clothes when bitten into so will be cutting them next time.
My only other observation was that the portions were too big, the hog bun and fries went cold before I could finish them so I wasted nearly half of my meal.
The place was clean and tidy and staff pleasant.
Great little place for coffee and breakfast. I asked for scrambled eggs on toast without the toast and I got huge bowl of scrambled eggs! Smothered in butter, it set me up for the day.
Banging breakfast, great value, friendly faces.
Paid twice as much elsewhere for half of the quality.
