Outdoor seating area, pool, local events such as music, DJ booth, quiz, raffles etc. Seems like a great bar, it's cheap too which makes all that much better. £3.50 a pint. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Can't comment on the food but worth a visit if you're in the area for a few scoops

Was recommended to go here as I was looking for somewhere to eat, walked down and told they got no kitchen at present but looking into it. Didn't stay for a drink as main reason for going was a meal

I can't comment on the food as I didn't purchase any, but I can comment on the cider. It was £3.50 a pint for a brand called orchard and it was lovely. It's definitely worth a visit as there's also an outdoor seating area.

There is now a nice menu and the bar staff are very friendly. they've got a pool table and live entertainment. They even have a happy hour so there is very nice priced drinks.
[Edit] we just went for a roast beef dinner for mother's Day and it was fantastic. Each plate had a great big Yorkshire pudding on it and there was a separate side of cauliflower cheese and broccoli. The extra gravy boat was a welcome addition.
