After being let down by another eating place in the town, my friends and I popped in the Station last night to see if we could get food. The place was very busy but we were soon able to order food. After a reasonable wait the food arrived and we were not disappointed. It was plentiful and well presented. I would definitely recommend eating here.

After trying to find somewhere to get a Sunday roast yesterday we dropped in and had the most amazing dinner. Landlord incredibly friendly, made us feel very welcome & the staff were very polite & attentive. Food was amazing, and served piping hot & presented excellently. Will go again when over camping at the Mile campsite again. Next time we will come straight to you for drinks too.... cheers

Very impressed with the place, sometimes you don’t have big expectations but then you find it’s a gold mind. The pub is a perfect example of what a pub should be its relaxed yet very atmospheric and a lively buzz about it. The staff are chilled happy people who enjoy their job. If your in Pocklington then don’t miss an opportunity to visit this place can’t recommend it enough.

I enjoy the ambience, quality of the beer and wine, and cheerful staff. I haven't eaten there since they changed the menu, but there are always plenty of diners, will need to arrange a meal there asap.

My wife, GS dog and I are staying at Pocklington on holiday. We went to The Station Hotel for a Sunday lunch. The roast beef meal was superb and the staff and service were excellent. Would, without doubt recommend The Station Hotel

York Red

Nice pub in the centre of Pocklington, serving classic English dishes. Reasonable prices on food, small beer garden to rear, dog friendly. We were a walk in so booking not always required. Bit of a delay on food due to mix up but got there eventually.
