This place is a little gem of a find. Quaint tea rooms with a beautiful simple menu of quiche, ploughman's, paninis, sandwiches and baguettes not forgetting homemade cake. Very friendly staff, great service, fabulous prices and wonderful food. Everyone must visit. Albert Road. Marvellous 🤗🤗

We had a group of about 18 of us for a hen doo. We had a room to ourselves at the back with a long table. Alice in wonderland theme was a lovely surprise and quirky little addition which made it even better. The tea rooms were accommodating of our butler in the buff however I'm not too sure the members of the public (including an elderly lady) who had to go via our room to get to the toilet was best pleased, but this definitely added to our fun 😂 Only little complaint is that we had near enough finished the food before any drinks were served. Other than that, fab little quaint place with decent afternoon tea!

We had a surprise birthday afternoon for our 89 year old mum who has had a stroke. There was 19 adults and three children and could not fault from beginning to end! Staff , food , surroundings excellent. They couldn't have done more if they tried. The kids even had there squash in teacups out of teapots! Brilliant! Took some cakes home and we were provided with cardboard boxes. The owner really should be proud of her success and her staff! Thankyou from us all for making an old lady and all her family very happy. Will definitely be returning and recommending!!

Visited here with a friend for tea and cake. I'd never been here before but glad that we discovered it. It's quite a small main cafe bit but there's still plenty of tables. Cakes, tea, coffee, lunch options etc are all reasonably priced. I had a cream tea, there were lots of tea choices to choose from and it was all loose leaf which makes a nice change! The cream tea was served almost how you would expect an afternoon tea to be presented and the scones were freshly baked and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.

This was our first visit to The Cream Tea Rooms and it was lovely. The service was excellent and Alice who served us was so friendly and she never hurried us. I ordered a pot of tea and I got 5 cups from the pot. The chocolate orange cake was amazing and my partner said his hot chocolate was delicious. We hope to visit again soon.

Lovely afternoon tea today. We were a group of ten. The staff were attentive, provided great service and were friendly&polite. The decorations in the hatters room were beautiful. Food was delicious and great value for money. Today was our first visit; we will be returning!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wonderful range of tea and hot drinks. I love the selection of cakes from your basic Victorian sponge to more unusual earl tea and rocky road flavours. They also serve lunch time foods such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches etc. If you visit you must see the mad hatter's room which is decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme. It's great

Cosy tea shop off Albert road. Food and tea were all sublime. We had afternoon tea for two with Ham, cheese, sweet corn and chicken and mayo, tuna sandwiches, lemon sponge, spiced carrot cake, shortbread and scones. Winchester Afternoon and Irish Breakfast were had for the tea, the former being light with a subtle taste and the latter being strong and full flavoured. Very nice tea. Other than a couple of mix-ups with the order, it was the perfect Sunday afternoon treat. Highly recommend for a quiet one, but suggest you book in advance; we got lucky and there was a spare table - last one though.
