Fantastic fish and chips, fish cooked fresh to order and very generous portions. New owners only took over in summer of 2022 so be careful reading old reviews. The interior is spotless, bright and clean.

Just bought fish and chips from here tonight. Absolutely superb! The best fish and chips I have had in years. Massive portion of chips and the batter on the fish was perfectly crisp. The fish was 100% cod and not the cheap alternative they pass off as cod in other establishments. My father was also super satisfied, and he is a fussy old man where this British classic is concerned. Best I have ever eaten in Pompey, beats the competition, hands down.

90% of the time these chips are made to order, for me I have to get them open just so I can get a few of those piping hot chips out the fryer. Absolutely beautiful! Definitely give these a try ask for them open! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
