Parade Tea Rooms

Lovely cafe, not too busy and the food we had we enjoyed. Sadly the menu on the website is not the menu in the tea room. There are more options on the menu on the website and we had chosen our food based on that only to be told they don't serve those items. We had asked if there was a different menu based on times of day/seasonal but were told the menu in the cafe is the only one and they couldn't tell us why its different online

A lovely cafe right at the entrance to Gunwharf Quays. Good coffee and the portion of millionaire shortbread was so generous it was enough for my two children to share, and leftovers to take away. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5, was the fruit scone, which was obviously not fresh and reheated in the microwave which just made it soft and soggy. I should have clocked this would happen when I saw them all wrapped individually in cling film on the counter. The rest of the cakes on offer looked amazing, so I'll just have to come back and choose more wisely next time.

Without a doubt, the best breakfast place you can find in Portsmouth. No joke here: friendly, tasty beautiful decor, organised. I was impressed by the cost/size ratio of all the portions. Generous and lavish cakes, very tasty scones, and the coffee is amazing. You can buy their cakes for around £40, a steal considering how delicious they are! A must in the trendy Gunwharf.

Lovely cafe, it was our second time here recently and it didn’t disappoint. We had a mixture of kids meals, menu staples and 2 of the specials and everything was served promptly, hot and tasted excellent. The staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful. We didn’t have to wait long to get seated despite it being 1pm. We had savoury and sweet 😋 and it was a lovely atmosphere. We will return again happily.
