Fantastic food,great atmosphere,boss and staff made it a great..yes a little pricey but it beats witherspoons menu....worth a visit when it re opens...well done peeps.

Atmosphere in here was 10/10 and the 2for1 cocktails is always a good thing. However I got the steak and asked for it medium and it was definitely well done so was disappointed by that. All in all I’d go again and maybe try something else as everything else was next to perfect.

Lovely Sunday dinner with the in-laws, carvery was delicious and portions generous. Nothing too much trouble for one of our party who is gluten-free, the waiting staff were brilliant and put up with the inevitable questions from the kids about when the food would be ready :) We'd booked for noon and had the place to ourselves, I suspect because of the football the previous evening and people staying in after celebrating!Desserts were delicious too, the 10-yr-old was so impressed with his cheesecake he asked who'd made it and thanked the chef. The only quibble from the in-laws was that with only us in the room the music was a bit loud, but no complaints with the food. Will definitely come again!

Lovely to get out after lock down. This place is still gearing up so a few items were unavailable on the menu. All the food we had was fresh tasty and enjoyed by our whole party. I will be looking forward to revisiting. Lovely team lovely food. Well worth a visit.

Lovely food owned by the independent local MP George Madgwick. This review is based on an experience dating back March 21.
We had a problem with their Google website being connected to KUKD. The owner or staff were not aware another company was essentially stealing their business. I notified them as soon as we paid £20ish on an online order. When we hadn't heard nothing for a while, me and my partner called up, to our horror Wicks said they don't do online payments. This has now been fixed. Any poor reviews in the past year are an example of this. This has since been fixed. Staff are great. Lovely Burgers. Some of the best in Portsmouth.

If you like surprises, you must eat here! The food was fantastic, and very affordable, but the menu totally under sells the food. We didn't know what to expect, based on the menu, but were amazed when the dishes arrived.

Being a vegan was slightly disappointed at the fact they were unaware of the ingredients in the soup. Although the alternatives they offered were more than adequate. Little more info to the serving staff would be good

Lovely little Bistro, very well set out for the current situation.
Nice friendly staff, food delicious and very nicely laid out on the plate, their hot chocolate is extremely delicious 😋 think it might be a secret recipe.
