My second time at Mowglis in Preston. The food and cocktails are amazing and all the staff were really friendly, especially our waiter Dec. I will be back again soon!

The staff were very accommodating when we brought our booking forward 2 hours (on a Friday evening). Tried the swing chair, but my partner didn't like it, so we moved to a table.
The food was delicious, very tasty, and loved the idea that it is tapas style .They recommended 2/3 each plus sides. There are plenty of vegetarian options which is great. We thoroughly enjoyed it but thought it was all a bit rushed. Food came out very quickly, and as soon as we'd finished and declined dessert, the bill and card machine were at the table. That's our only criticism.

Really friendly service and a superb atmosphere. Food was nice but lacked the wow factor and arrived all at the same time which was a bit daunting. The house lamb curry was fantastic but at the same time the Agra ginger chicken was a bit on the bland side. The temple Dahl also lacked punch but the picnic potatoes were really good even if they were far too heavily seasoned with fenugreek. Overall a nice place and I will return when in the area again.

Visited Mowgli for the first time and I was impressed. Wanted to taste a few things so my sister and I chose an item or so and we shared. Chaat bombs were great although you get 5 so it makes sharing between 2 a little awkward as to who gets the last one! Slaw was tasty, sticky chicken was very nice and the paneer was tasty but a little light on the paneer. Maybe next time I would order something like a dish of rice to soak up some of the sauces but for a slightly more elevated experience Mowglis was great.
Always the swing chairs are a great USP, we were a little early to our reservation and got seated straight away at a table but then asked if we could get a swing table and the staff member wiggled it around so we could. Thank you!

Our second visit to Mowgli and we enjoyed it just as much this time. Lovely atmosphere (although can be quite loud so bear in mind if you’re going as a group to chat!) Food was delicious! We enjoyed every dish we tried, but would highly recommend chat bombs and the butter chicken (not as boring as it sounds!) All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service was great.

Absolutely loved the food here, very worth the hype, staff were lovely and I honestly can't wait to return.
The swings are very distracting, we kept forgetting to pick what we want to eat as we were too busy swinging 🤣
Great place, great location and amazing food!

We went to this restaurant recently with some friends. Was our first visit there. The staff is super friendly, and the ambience is lovely. The styling, the lighting is very unique. Good choice of cocktails, with an Indian twist. Prices were okay - not cheap but not super expensive either. So far so good.
The only downside I felt was that the dishes lacked authenticity and flavour. They don't need to be spicy hot, but they could do with some increase in spice flavouring/taste (which isn't the same as being hot). Otherwise a great experience, and we might visit again at some point.

The food here is different than usual Indian food. It is extremely tasty and the portion sizes, although small bites, tapas style, were slightly bigger than expected. You will need at least 5 between 2 depending on how large your appetite is. That does make it a little costly but quality is good. The menu shows calories per item which is helpful for anyone watching their intake. The downside when we called was the ambient noise where we were sitting near the front window on a fixed table. We couldn't hear each other across the table. You have a choice of swinging seats or regular chairs in case anyone suffers from dizziness. We had regular which meant choice of position in the restaurant was limited. The acoustics could be different elsewhere. Staff were helpful and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you like tasty small plates.
