I always enjoy coming to Smash - good value ping pong, slightly offset by more expensive drinks.
Ping pong equipment needs a refresh as its starting to look tired.
Also, this is an excellent place to watch sports.

Quality bar, probably along with purple turtle my favourite bar in Reading. Table tennis available, easy food and happy hour drinks. Service is friendly, the smash lager wasn't brilliant so needs some improvement. The atmosphere is very vibrant and energetic.

A decent table tennis bar but best to book ahead for a table. Well worth checking when the various happy hours are as drinks SO much cheaper, for example bottle of prosecco under £10!. Wish there was more space around the tables to enable playing but on the whole a good place

Awesome bar and good price on an hour on one of the tables. The cocktails were decent size and the beer selection more than good compared to other places around (lambics too!).

Decent bar, happy hour cocktails don't have to be the same two which was refreshing. Having table tennis in it definitely made the night more fun!

Great little find in the heart of Reading. They've obviously put effort into making an entertaining experience for customers with quizzes, ping pong and themed nights. Often have good specials on the drinks too which makes it super affordable! Good place for a first date or group outing.

Average bar with table tennis and two flipper games. Pizza was OK, friendly staff.

It was just starting to get busy when we arrived. The white wine was fine and I tried a Coast to Coast, which was a bit bland. Anyhow, the table tennis was clearly popular and the place had a relaxed atmosphere, with a surprising mix of all ages.

Drinks are a bit pricy but they do have table tennis on the lower bar for hire. It's definitely something different usually quite a fun evening.

That place is amazing. Revealing your inner pingponger whilst drinking and eating pizza with your mates! Even when service was slow, waitress Sophie was looking after us and we got a round of free drinks to apologies for delays!
