Good fish and chips, had a free sample bag of chips handed to me while I waited which I thought was a nice touch. No complains on the food or service. I think they've just become my local chippy!

Best local chippy. Portions are generous, prices are cheap, staff are friendly. The chicken shish is lovely, the cod is ridiculously big for the price and its thick too. Not greasy at all either. A small cone of chips is offered while waiting for your food which is a nice touch and keeps you happy while waiting although the wait isn't too long even if there's a few people ahead. Cold drinks in the fridge and foods always fresh. Been a few times and it's consistently good, so kept going back.

This is the best chip shop I've ever been to I kid you not. The chips are crispy delights and the kebab wrap and cod are also delicious. Staff are really friendly and give a small cone of chips to eat while you wait for food to be prepared.

Beat chips by far. Automatically come double cooked . . . just like they are supposed to be. Exceptionally friendly staff. Sometime they hand out a mini portion of chips to those waiting. . . just like the old days.
There was a time when good Fish and Chips became a rare thing, plenty of shops but poor quality. So pleased to say with the Lighthouse the quality is excellent.. 'just like years ago!'. We go there regularly, the standard is always consistent - tasty fish and chips nicely done.
Shish Kebabs are also very good and recommended.
Orders can be called in and collected which is really convenient at busy times (the queue can be long on a Friday night..)
Super friendly service from the guys - many times some sample chips given while you wait and a large bottle of pop has been thrown in with larger orders.
