We went to Wentworth Heritage Garden for our grandson to complete their Easter Trail. The trail was well thought out and not too onerous for an 8 year old. He completed the trail, got the answers correct, and enjoyed his prize of sweets. The gardens are well maintained, and the paths were not muddy despite the persistent rain of late. It was lovely to see the resident deers enjoying their lunch. All in all a good day out. An improvement would be to provide a toilet facility within the heritage garden as it's a long way to trek from the garden to use the ones within the restaurant or the courtyard.

Get there early! We arrived at 10.30 am and the enormous car park was almost full. It might have been time of year, though, as it was tail end of East Holidays, so they still had the easter egg hunt on. Wentworth is not just a typical garden centre. It also has a cafe, a bistro and a deli, a family farm, a playground, and historical gardens, which includes a small maze. We visited the historical gardens (£2.75 for adults, £2 concessions & kids). The maze is small, but it's a bit of fun, and the rest of the gardens were lovely. I'm sure they will look stunning in the summer months. There are a few quirky features in the gardens, which made it interesting. We had lunch at The Walled Garden cafe. For 2 coffees, it was £7. We both had quiche of the day with potatoes & salad. At £9 (approx), we felt we had a good portion of food, and it was served to the table hot We both enjoyed our lunch. There were various options of sandwiches and cooked meals available as well as afternoon tea. The cafe/restaurant is self-serve, but hot food is brought to your table. It's a large venue with an outdoor terrace for the warmer months. Although The Bothy looked very nice, we both felt there were more options at The Walled Garden cafe restaurant at more reasonable prices. The deli can be found at the courtyard where takeaway food is available. Seating is outside but under a covered area (like a giant gazebo). I believe they are doing additional work to increase the size of the deli. For those with kids, there are two playground areas (one is a boat and the other, I think, was a climbing frame of sorts). They were being well used. I noticed the family petting farm was next door to the playground, and entry was by ticket (purchases at the farm). The garden shop and gift area had a lot to offer. In a separate building, there was also an aquatic centre for water features and all things to do with ponds. It's definitely a place to go with or without children as there is plenty to do for everyone.

Glorious. So nice to visit an independent garden centre, we really enjoyed it. My kids and I easily could have spent a whole day here, exploring the playgrounds, farm/zoo animals, the historical gardens and pet/pond shop. My kids loved the sand/water playground. It was so lovely to see a lot of kids ditching their shoes and rolling their trousers up to play! Next time I’ll take a bigger picnic, sand toys and spare clothing. I took off one star because to access the family farm area and the sand/ water playground (which you need to buy tickets for) you have exit via the gift shop, and we all know how painful that can be with kids! Apart from that, it was great.

Lovely place. We went to the farm during the kids holidays as they had an Easter event on. Small and well kept, perfect for young kids. Small play area for younger children and regular animal handling sessions. Definitely worth a trip to entertain the kids for a couple of hours. We then went to the cafe for a hot chocolate and cake and it was delicious 😋

We have just enjoyed afternoon tea in the garden room which we had hired for exclusive use for the purpose of my daughter's baby shower. I have to say from the moment I arrived the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was beautifully presented. We were able to decorate it ourselves too, which again the staff assisted us with. A special thank you to Jess for helping me bring all my items from the car and also to Alicia for her attentive yet unobtrusive help and quiet but efficient service, keeping me hydrated with endless cups of tea ! We all had a fabulous time. The tea itself was gorgeous and the setting was better than we had expected. The photos really don't do the place justice! Thank you. From a very grateful Mummy to be and Grandma to be ! 🩷

Set a beautiful area. We visited during late November and Christmas is already there! Very well organised. Downside many of the things are expensive. Worth a visit just for the atmosphere though. We also saw Santa walking around - how cool is that 🤶🎄❤️💚😊 big

First time visiting and absolutely loved it. Garden centre is a bit of an understatement though! It's massive. You could spend a full day there. The plants are all quality and the lady that server us with the indoor plants was really helpful. The little farm is great too and trust me it's worth waiting in line for one of the sausage rolls at the caff they are hands down the best ones I've ever tasted. Cracking latte too

This has to be the perfect destination for a plant mom like me. I always loved visiting here on weekends. I have lost count the number of plants I have bought from here. It’s a place where you could spend your whole day even without noticing the time as it passes. They have got brilliant varieties of both outdoor and indoor plants.
