The Beacon

My wife and I visited here for my 40th birthday. From the moment we stepped outside our taxi we knew we had arrived somewhere special. The grounds are very well kept and nicely presented. It was evening time and the festoon lighting really set the mood. Upon entry we were greeted by a nice front of house person who guided us to the lounge area where we could take a drink whilst waiting for our table. The bar staff there were very knowledgeable and the drinks menu was very extensive. When we we invited up to our table the floor supervisor introduced himself by name and introduced us to our waitress. The dining area is superbly decorated in a relaxed Victorian-esque kind of way. Then came the food, all I can say is it was truly exquisite. To the point I wrote a note to be handed to the kitchen staff, as at some points I had to close my eyes to savour the flavour. I will 100% be coming back for a return visit. Thank you to the Beacon and your amazing staff.

Abi and her team did such an amazing job bringing our dream day and more. There really isn't enough words to say thank you. From communications pre-wedding day to the service on the day. It was just perfect. The staff were so attentive, making sure all our guests were looked after. The food was simply delicious and beautiful. The venue itself is just stunning. All our guests were blown away by how beautiful each space were. Abi, our wedding coordinator was so helpful. She coordinated the day so well but also gone above and beyond and helped style our reception. Lastly, I highly recommend staying at the suite, it made it even more special waking up the next day and seeing where it all happened was pretty special.

We visit every three months for our Board Meetings. A fantastic meeting room that has natural day light and fresh air. Check ins from staff for teas and coffees during the meeting. Lunch in the restaurant or in the terrace is always lovely, a great selection of locally sourced foods. We take our desert back to the meeting room to finish off the afternoon.

Recently celebrated a friend's wedding here... I honestly could not have picked a more perfect location and setting... The venue is absolutely beautiful.... the food was exquisite.... and the staff couldn't do enough for us.... they have just finished the rooms in the main house... the design is stunning and so much detail has gone into each room

Really friendly staff. Waited on by multiple waiters/waitresses all of whom were lovely. (we were in the main restaurant) Food was exceptionally well presented and very tasty. Portions looked small but filled me up nicely despite my big appetite so don't be put off. Location is great and the views are incredible. I'll be going back to try the walk in section for tea, cake and breakfast in a couple of weeks! All so good I totally forgot to take any photos!

Beautiful hillside setting with high quality amenities from a mini amphitheatre for shows a sundeck for events & entertaining in addition to their marvellous restaurant & balcony. With an obviously regular clientele, their staff are very friendly & well informed regarding the menu making the experience relaxed & special. The menu is limited but expertly put together catering for all refined tastes.. excellent!
