Grub & Liquor

Thank you to Sarah and the team for hosting our Christmas Party this year amongst what is a very difficult time. I have not visited Grub and Liquor before, what a gem of a pub. The venue was kitted out with covid measures and areas were not over crowded at even thought the venue was busy. The service, staff and food were absolutely amazing, outstanding value for money and we most definitely will be back. The attention to detail really made our evening one to remember. Thank you for the great memories 10/10

Delicious cocktails, and the 'bar's choice' option was a really fun and different approach to ordering cocktails. We ordered three 'surprise' cocktails and all three were delicious and creative. The atmosphere was really nice and our server (Liam) and the bar staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend for a cocktail evening with great food too!

The only thing that let this place down was the beer selection. There were about 6 beers on tap, and they're all the usual suspects. Some of them good, some of them bad. The spirits selection looked good, but I didn't try any. The roof terrace had a fairly annoying amount of wasps on the day I was there, which made for a lot of flailing arms. When it started to rain, there was plenty of indoor seating for everyone which was great.

Great night .. All staff on point. Nothing can be too much .. The cocktails speak for themselves ..( awesome ) .. not a place to go if u want a quiet time with the kids .. in the evening .. but a absolutely brilliant place for the adults to enjoy socialize and have a dance .. .. Will bring the family during the day to enjoy the burgers I saw coming out the kitchen .. VIP service provided by George

I love it here, really good value for money and the staff can't do enough for you. The cocktails are great and they have happy hour and bottomless prosecco at certain times. They could work on controlling the temperature a bit better, sometimes it can be freezing and other times far too hot- I'd bring a jumper just in case

Excellent little bar, sometimes holds private events in a separate downstairs bar and a venue for select music. Out too there is a beautiful terrace where you can catch the sun anytime of year it's showing. Reasonably priced, good staff and not too well known though can get very busy with a mixed crowd on weekend nights. I like it a lot.

Fantastic bar, the owner is friendly and manages a great team. He's an expert mixologist ... I sampled the most delicious Martinis I'd ever tasted - which incorporates the bars own unique twist. Thursday night's £5 Cocktail went down a treat. I would highly recommend getting a group of friends together and going to Tunbridge Wells just to experience this pub, it won't disappoint! The food dishes that came out looked of high quality and truly scrumptious. Great atmosphere and vibe, filled with happy punters! An experience you shouldn't miss out on...Friday night's offers are unbelievable.
