The Lyle

I Have visited the Lyle many of times. It never disappoints! The decor is stunning! With a big garden good for the summer and a very cosy vibe inside for the winter. The food is exceptional and very well presented. The cocktails are amazing and very quirky with a lot of different ones to choose from. The service is always on point and the staff really do go above and beyond. They interacted through out our visit with our 2 year old which she loved making it more personal to us. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait for the next visit.

One of the best meals in recent years, for sure. During lock down we were so disappointed in now being able to visit this newly opened restaurant, so we ordered a takeaway! Wow, what a meal. Not only did we like it that much, we ordered the same the following Sunday. I'm just about to book for my wifes birthday in June, I hope this shows how lovely this place is. Lastly, I had a huge HUGE chuckle at the one star reviews. It is worth going and reading them, as I expect they are both still in hospital from the bile (lies) they wrote, and not the food :-). This is a great restaurant and run by some pretty decent people to boot. Well done guys. See you all soon. Les

Second to none in Tunbridge Wells and exactly what the town needs! A non pretentious and actually, pretty superb restaurant where they describe the dishes to you before each course, with incredible knowledge and expertise. Little complimentary dishes delivered to our table with service throughout our visit, quite impeccable!! We will be back for sure!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautifully refurbished, modern style with tip top food created by an obviously skilled top chef. The restaurant manager Ruby was very attentive and professional. Separate vegan menu, you need to ask for it or mention on booking, it is worth it! This place is fast becoming my go to venue in Tunbridge Wells.
