I had a most enjoyable meal, perfectly cooked with excellent service all round. I visited on 28 Sept 23 and will be returning again soon, I don't normally do reviews but was so impressed felted that I must on this occasion. Well done to all the staff, especially the chef, management and serving staff!

Recently nipped in with family during the week looking for a quick lunch. Ordered for four at the bar from the 2 classic pub meals for £12.95 offer (at this price I was not expecting wonders but was pleasantly surprised). The food was cooked quickly and well and to a far better standard than other pubs/ restaurants that charge twice as much for the same meal (at places like Harvester or Hungry Horse). I know other reviews have complained about the building saying it needs a tidy up but I didn't find this pub was any different to any other Greene King, Wetherspoons or Harvester in that respect. I know its hard to break even running a pub these days and its a lot of hard work doing so while maintaining standards but we found this pub to be great and hope to pop in again some day soon. Thanks.
