Unique place dated from 13th century. Looks like a gutted church but apparently it was where Deans lived for many generations. Good place for a party. There is a raised stage suitable for dancing and a mall kitchen. Place looks good when decorated.

Golden wedding celebration for 90 people. Unique venue looks beautiful when dressed for a party with masses of candles supplied. John and Jane couldn’t have been more helpful and the evening ran like clockwork. Highly recommended!

We hosted our Celebratory Tea Party at this wonderful venue today. James, and the team ( family run) were incredibly attentive to even the smallest detail. They ensured that the event went smoothly from set up and catering to clearing down. Nothing was too much trouble! The venue in itself really lends itself to this type of event and our guests seemed equally impressed. Highly recommended 👌

We were looking for a venue to host an event which was a celebration of the life of my mother, who died last year. The hall looked ideal for this, being such an atmospheric space with wonderful surroundings. The staff at the hall were so helpful in working with us to programme the event and setting everything up on the day. It all went incredibly smoothly on the day and I have been inundated with thanks from attendees to say how much they enjoyed the event. The staff were on-hand to welcome the guests, coordinate with the caterers and help to serve drinks for everyone. The hall was perfectly suited to the occasion with good quality AV resources along with an acoustic that is ideal for the music that was performed. The whole experience was wonderful and a fitting tribute.

My sister held her wedding here. Was a lovely location within the cathedral grounds. John, the main person that runs the hall was great and was there to answer any questions. The day went soomthly without a hitch.

What an amazing place. A true piece of history but the facilities were superb and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend this highly fir a corporate function.

Beautiful building/setting, wonderful hidden gem and a magical setting to experience events. We are going to be holding our Handfasting here and found it to be the perfect setting after searching through so many.
