Had a fabulous meal at the forge, very tasty, ample portions. I had one of the pizzas which was very nice, quite garlicky (so perhaps not for you if you're not a garlic fan), but the flavours complimented each other well and the base was cooked to perfection. Desserts were also delicious, my sweet waffle was incredible. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Despite it being busy (always a good sign) the service was quick and we weren't waiting long until we were tucking into our delicious meal. Although it was busy, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. Very dog friendly. One of the most welcoming places I've ever been in, such a warm and friendly environment and clearly a hub of the village, seemed very popular with the locals. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent meal the sunday lunch and desert, very friendly staff and great inviroment. They were very welcoming to buster the dog even serving him with his own bowl of water. If I have one critic it was that the vegetables were served in one dish for two couples would have been better if my wife and I had our own serving.
