Best and friendliest pub I have ever been in. Barstaff are absolutely there for you and Mick and Dawn are fantastic hosts. Great quiznight every other Wednesday week. Great Sunday lunch with the use of fresh local vegetables.

First visit just for drinks, great atmosphere, fabulously preserved old Inn, friendly staff, pleasant garden, noticed folk comfortable dining alone there. We'll be back.

Went for Sunday dinner on my own last week just because I was starving. Nice sunny beer garden to eat in, bar very clean and tidy and very pleasant staff. Had the mixed meat Sunday dinner which was very impressive. Young lady who served me could not have been more obliging. Will certainly go again.

What can I say but oh my god the Sunday lunch we had was bloody amazing and huge one of these fed 3 of us with left overs . We ordered 3 as didn’t have any idea on the portion size to feed three adults .. We would highly recommend was red hot and really tasty the meat just melted. Only downside was No mash but that’s not a criticism as was tonnes without it . Thoroughly enjoyed by all definitely order again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
