Visited yesterday at the start of kids holidays on a bright sunny Sunday afternoon, so we knew it was going to be busy. We just managed to get in the car park at the rear fortunately.
There was a small queue to be seated and the host was a friendly guy with plenty of enthusiasm and true to his word he had us seated in well under the 15mins he'd quoted.
The wait for food after ordering on our mobile was a little longer than we'd hoped however. And here is my only real negative, because you're ordering on your phone the human interaction part is limited now. And I can see why they'd go this route, but also being sat tucked away in the corner it felt like there was never an opportunity to chase up our food order. It creates a slightly weird atmosphere for me. And the fact that all the staff you come across look about 12yrs old and have zero personality, again this is understandable for a business, but this is what I like about my favourite eating establishments, they have staff with character and personality and common sense. Not one of the young staff we came across had anything to say or ask or the gumption to take away anything empty, like when we got dessert, the large empty plates were left behind. Weird and slightly frustrating.
This being said the food was delicious but a bit cold, particularly the Sunday roasts.
I would still visit again with this knowledge and lowered expectations.
Lovely building, lots of seating inside and out. Lots of parking spaces too. Food was delicious and cakes are absolutely fabulous. Too many to pick from but you can takeaway. Prices are reasonable. Hand wash in bathroom smells delish.
Visited with my daughter for lunch and it was very nice. Ample seating, lovely decor and plenty of staff visible. Food was great. I had a salad and my daughter had the chicken chilli wrap which she rated as yum.
