Called in at Daisyclough today and after having a look round the lovely garden centre we decided to have a bite to eat in their new cafe/coffee house. The food was truly delicious, home cooked, nice choice, prompt service plus chatty friendly staff. Bit of a hidden gem just outside the village of Scorton and well worth a visit if you are passing and an added bonus you can take well behaved dogs their too. 🐶

First time we visited Daisy Clough and we thought it was great. We had lunch in the tea room, food and service great. Loved looking around the shop and nurseries. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

What a lovely, quaint tea room, lovely food and great service, you could eat indoors or outside under a canopy, it also had a garden centre attached to it, it's wheelchair friendly and even seem to have wheelchairs available if needed, nice clean toilet, a good selection of cooked food and scrumptious cake, good for parking

This very friendly family welcoming tea room is the best around, great choice and taste from breakfast to late afternoon snack. Our full English breakfasts were 5 star and fit for Royalty thank you all for your service with a smile and enough food to last all day.

Came here for some food after walking the dogs at nearby Scorton picnic site. Had a slight wait for food, but it was a nice day and it was busy so we didn't mind too much, it's to be expected. The drinks were delivered promptly and unlike a previous review I thought the flat white was of a good standard and I am very picky with my coffee. Loved the little sample of gingerbread that came on the side. Food was great, I went for the fig and goats cheese salad. Fantastic albeit a bit more fig wouldn't have gone a miss, but plenty of cheese. Mum had the fish finger sandwich which unfortunately I had to help her finish! Chips which came on the side were awesome, triple cooked with a lovely crisp outer and a fluffy centre. We had a little look around the garden centre and saw some lovely items. We were conscious about the dogs being in the car. We could of taken the dogs with us as it seemed very dog friendly but our dogs are a bit mental at times! Looking forward to visiting again and having more time to look around.

We always enjoy our meals here and we're never disappointed. Excellent once again. It can get very busy at lunchtime but, with good weather, you're able to eat outside too. Good sized portions and plenty to choose from on the menu. A further visit and the same dish, almost (it's my favourite 😁). Once again beautiful.

We've recently not been here as many times as to The Barn in Scorton because we don't think the food is as good. However after having lunch at the Barn, we called at Daisy Clough and found their herb prices to be lower than The Barn. So this is ok, both quite large garden centres, both with substantial restaurants, as opposed to a tacked on cafe, both offering much the same thing. Daisy Clough pride themselves on old-fashioned service rather than any hi-tech facilities - e.g. they don't use any barcoding for example.
