The Priory

We stayed at The Priory B&B to accomodate us for a friend's wedding at a nearby venue. We had not managed our time realistically and a taxi to the wedding venue would have made us arrive later than we hoped. Janice, who I'm assuming is the owner, kindly drove us to the wedding venue. It was lovely to stay in such a beautiful setting with a genuinely caring person running the place. To top it off, our room was clean and warm with a comfortable king size bed. Our breakfasts were also cooked to perfection with friendly and attentive staff within earshot. My wife and I are very pleased with our stay at The Priory and will highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to visit the area.

I recently had a fantastic stay at the Priory Cafe, Bed and Breakfast. Myself and my wife had attended a wedding in the local area, and opted to stay here for the evening. Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff on arrival, were polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms were an excellent size and the beds/pillows, were of great quality. Both myself and my wife agreed it was one of the best night's sleep we've had at a hotel. There was plenty of options for breakfast. I opted for a full English, as I was nursing a slight hangover from the wedding. The breakfast was delicious, and well needed. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and I would definitely stay again if I every found myself in that area.

Everything about The Priory was glorious (and no, I'm not comparing it to the Ritz), but it ticked every box for a recent weekend visit to the area to see family. Located in a quiet, picturesque village, the apartment we had was fantastic and had everything we needed. What made the extra difference though was the quality of service offered by every person I had contact with, from my original tentative enquiry, through to booking and then to our stay itself the fantastic people here could not have done more, and the quality of the food/drinks we had was perfect. If I need accommodation in the area again I can at least now save myself a search and just book for here, thank you for your brilliant business !

Had a lovely stay over night whilst attending a wedding close by, communication was friendly and exceptional. Arrival early and had lunch which was again excellent and good value, staff again tentative and professional. Our room was small but perfectly comfortable and clean with a front street view. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would visit again.
