I was so shocked but how beautiful this place is, why had I never been before. We had afternoon tea, one of the best I've ever had, couldn't fault a thing, ample parking, great atmosphere and food worth travelling for. I even went and thanked the kitchen staff it was so good, I will be back.
Amazing food! The food was fantastic and very tasty. Very filling! Dessert, I forgot to take a picture of but it was lovely. Definitely recommend. I would advise to book in advance so you have a seat as it is a little bit tight but still enough room to get round a table.
Absolutely unbelievable experience. This place is worth a special visit. The portion sizes are great. The service is top notch. The surroundings and restaurant itself are gorgeous. But most of all, the food... so much pride goes into everything - brilliant ingredients beautifully prepared with so much flare. Wow!
My second visit to The Rhubarb Shed and we were absolutely blown away. The quality and quantity of the afternoon tea was astonishing. The service was excellent and my guests and I had a fabulous time. The afternoon tea was decadent and delicious with sandwiches, scones and cakes (plenty of them), it also contained slices of quiche, pork pie and sausage rolls. The home made piccalilli was excellent, so good I bought a jar to bring home. Brilliant food and atmosphere, highly recommended 👍👍👍
Afternoon tea here is one of the best I’ve had. We wanted to increase our booking by one person and they were very accommodating. I love that they provide little boxes to take away anything we don’t manage to eat. A welcome treat in the afternoon. Staff are always very attentive. Last time we came the Shef even came over as we were asking for the recipe for the Piccadilly. This condiment should be winning awards and the Shef was so humble, came over and told us the ingredients and how to create it. Thank you for welcoming us.
Found this unique cafe what a find its truely amazing my son had a delicious pork sandwich with salad I had a naughty but nice vanilla slice decorated with fresh cream and berries yum yum we all had latte coffee my son had oatmilk coffee the atmosphere is slightly bohemian as the decor they do a fab afternoon tea the staff are truely lovely so helpful and told me the history of enchanting rhubarb shed I believe at first hourses were kept in this old building then they grew rhubarb in it hench the rhubarb shed outside seating available one disabled parking space next to cafe and free parking a small walk away situated off manor Lane enchanting delightfully hidden rhubarb shed definitely coming again
Lovely place, food was tasty and well presented, staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend! Also a full gluten free menu as well as a specials board.
Oh wow what a fabulous place. The food is absolutely superb,I had a small Sunday lunch and there was plenty,all wonderfully fresh and beautifully cooked. Looking at the afternoon teas being served they were very impressive. All the staff are really friendly,happy and very helpful. I didn't know this little jewel existed. I will definitely be going back. Fantastic.
