A nice meal had here after a full day of shopping.
Following a selection of delicious Starters, I had the Penne Giardiniera for main. I usually go for the Seafood Linguine but decided to switch it up - great choice! It was seasoned beautifully, every mouthful delicious and very filling - I could have had that alone without any starters! A couple of my Spinach balls were over-done but that didn't affect the overall enjoyment of the meal.
The only thing that worried me was the amount of dust gathered on the light shade above my table and several others. Had the shade moved even slightly - myself and food would have been showered in this! It did make me nervous.
Service was slower than I've previously experienced there, considering the restaurant wasn't busy cause it was after 7pm, but the serving staff were excellent.
I'd visit again but please can the light shades be cleaned.
As a regular visitor for Saturday breakfast we decided to try the evening menu,a totally new experience. My wife had no problem choosing off the menu but I have an intolerance to garlic.
Having spoken to the duty manager about my concerns she had a word with the chef and everything was sorted.
The manager and chef were very understanding and accommodating and I therefore had a most enjoyable meal served up by a very pleasant young lady who we'd had the pleasure of meeting before.
Overall a truly wonderful group of staff
who looked after us in very pleasant surroundings.

The food here is simply superb. I enjoyed a classic English breakfast that was cooked to perfection, while my wife savoured her dish of salmon, eggs, and toast topped with a delicious hollandaise sauce (I forget the name of the dish). Both meals were beautifully presented and left us more than satisfied.
The atmosphere at Carluccio's is lovely, with a charming aura that complements the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff. They go out of their way to make sure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of, adding to the overall excellent dining experience.
