Just taken my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday. Its a lovely cosy place, food brilliant and great value for money and staff who couldn't have been more helpful! Mum loved it too. I'll definately be back.Definately worth all 5stars if not more .
Good to get a piping hot capucinno and perfectly scrambled eggs and my grandsons ate all their breakfast too. Pop in every time I'm down on holiday
Me and a friend attended half a day pottery throwing class. Really good fun and very supportive tutors
Best place for courses of Arts painting sculpture pottery and to explore your passion for Fine Arts . I am doing pottery and gonna do more courses in future. Beautiful environment and experienced teachers there.
Did the intro to pottery. Made 3 pots, destroyed more than I made. The instructor was great. Really friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Great place to learn pottery. Courses are great value for money, and you have an opportunity to practice twice a week with all equipment supplied at their drop ins too, couldn't ask for more. It's a gem.
The Art House took a hit during Covid 19 and lost a functional cafe! Only a few minimal classes are running and luckily I happen to be in one of groups which are still going! The place is great and needs some sort of funding to get it back on its feet and get people coming back!
Lovely friendly environment. The Vegan food was awesome. Clean and spacious toilets with good accessibility for those with additional mobility or changing needs. The art gallery was small but perfectly formed and the lunchtime recital was the cherry on top. Would highly recommend this place.
My partner and I have attended pottery courses here. The tutors are very knowledgeable and supportive and the facilities are excellent. The dedication of the team is really evident in how many different activities they offer and prices are very reasonable. All levels of skill are welcome. The Art House is a real gift for the people of Sheffield, thank you to everyone involved.
We visited The Tea Studio in The Art House as a last holiday treat before my son was starting back at school. What a lovely place! My lad had a jacket potato meal which he loved, I went for the bhaji sandwich. Very tasty. The cafe has dairy free butter and cheese for vegans and a wide selection of teas, and cakes and cookies suitable for a vegan diet!
I had the best chocolate cake from here too, hats off to the lady who looked after us, and her secret recipe.
The service was super friendly, and i have already recommended this place to a few people!
Its a hidden gem, and we will definitely return!
Went for one of the children's classes. My eldest and I really enjoyed it.
Small group, materials provided. Will probably come again.
Have adult classes too but can't comment on them as I have been to any.
Cafe downstairs which serves a selection of food including vegan. Eldest son tried the coffee cake. Very nice (pinched a bit).
This is a great hidden gem in the city centre. There are a number of courses from pottery, painting, crafts, etc.
There's a lovely little vegetarian and vegan cafe downstairs open to the public.
My mum took some pottery and craft classes not long after my dad died. She found everyone friendly and sympathetic. The whole experience helped her massively get her confidence back to go out again.
The art house supports those who are lonely, amongst many others.
Please support this place to save it from closing during lockdown. It is a vital service as well as a lovely place to visit.
