We had a meal and a couple of drinks with a couple of friends at lunchtime and I had a lovely bacon and brie panning served with fresh salad and fries, my wife had a cheese and tuna panning with the said salad and fries. A really good tasty lunch and enjoyed by all four of us, the service was excellent and punctual and the waitress was friendly, very efficient and polite and we have no problem recommending the Norfolk Arms for a good lunchtime visit. What a find! The room was excellent, I have mobility problems but they happily accommodated that - spacious, warm, good views and superb bathroom. The bar area was olde worlde, welcoming and very comfortable. The food, too, was very good, with prompt, well plan Ed service. Thoroughly recommend.

Just how a country pub should be and busy with locals. After a days walking in the Peaks we settled here for some delicious ale and a gorgeous pub dinner. Dog friendly and had no issue with us sleeping in the van on the car park! Will visit again.

We had lunch here a few days ago and the food and service was excellent; a traditional country pub and they even had Hendersons Relish which made it a 5 star review from me! The prices were very reasonable and the menu choices were varied; will certainly visit again.

We came as a family on a very busy Mother's day. Was incredibly surprised how good the standard was. The food throughout was amazing. Great roast dinner and my seabass was lovely. We were very impressed.
