PROPER CHIP SHOP LIKE THEY USED TO BE, NICE CRISPY BATTER NOT TOO THICK, GOOD SIZED FISH NOT ALL BATTER, GOLDEN CHIPS PROPERLY COOKED, NICE COD ROE AND FISH CAKES, PEAS AND CURRY SAUCE GREAT, THEY EVEN DO GLUTEN FREE BATTER SO PEOPLE WITH STOMACH ILLNESS CAN ENJOY FISH AND CHIPS AGAIN AND I LIKE THAT, PRICES ARE GOOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR SATURDAY DINNERTIME NOW.. FISH AND A COD ROE SALT AND VINEGAR.

Been going here nearly all my life and it’s the best fish and chips shop in Sheffield. I’ve always had fish and chips and they have always been amazing. Now I’ve started having chicken nuggets and the nuggets are so delicious, warm and fresh. I love going here and so does all my family. The owner is amazing, so kind and welcoming!!!

Had chips and potato scallops from here and it was like going back in time to when most chip shops produced lovely traditional chips; properly cooked, not pasty and not fat. Sadly, it just highlights the problem, it is time for a Campaign for Real Chips. Until that gets organised (may be it already has?) you need to make a trip to this chippy.

My Wife is a diagnosed Coeliac and wasn't able to enjoy fish and chips for a long time, Stanwood cater amazingly to her and now they have GF sausage it's hard to keep her away!
On top of that, their regular fish and chips are excellent - the best in Sheffield definitely! Can't recommend enough.
