Visited for the first time today with my partner and her mum and it was a great old skool pub. The staff were lovely and we were greeted by their adorable little sausage dog. We played jenga and had a beer which was nice and it was decorated really well, will definitely be back again to have a few more beers and hear the live music 🎶
A fantastic music themed pub virtually next door to Sheffield Cathedral.
Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff.
It had a live band on the Saturday night we visited. Also late opening that evening (to 2am I think).
Great drinks selection with offers on some spirits (rum and gin noted). Lovely 'Baby Guinness' shots also available.
Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Don't know what to make of it. Traditional pub in the middle of town, but just one big room. Friendly staff.
Well jumpered staff.
Convenient for the tram when they're running properly.⁹
Update _Still the same. Good place to wait for the tram.
Great selection of ales, friendly staff. It's like stepping into a local boozer, they do food but I didn't get to order any. Live music every Friday and Saturday night.
Good centrally located pub. Range of beers is ok if not brilliant, but good atmosphere and also live music some nights.
A nice bar, with a compact but homely layout. There was live music, and it was not to my taste (I didn’t recognise a single song) but was still pretty good. I personally found the music a little too loud, particularly the drums. The crash was ringing in my ears for almost 3 hours, and I barely remember the music because of it. You cannot hold any conversations in the bar because the music is so loud that you’ll need to holler at the top of your lungs to get anything across.
On a good note though, the drinks I got were good. And, I was pretty happy with the seats and lighting.
I’m clearly not the main demographic of this place, you may enjoy it more if you like live music on the louder side and are a senior. Even so, overall it was a nice experience and I would come back on non-music nights
Good choice of ales
Was quite mid week when I popped in but still had good atmosphere and background music on.
Food looked good and good value from what I saw coming out while I was having a quiet band , regular bands on.
Old style pub vibe but it’s what I like to see nowadays. Good choice of drinks.
This place is not a bad pub, it's on a back road and seems to have a nice crowd that use the place. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices for a city centre pub. Plus it does baby Guiness
Had one of the most amazing spontaneous nights, so well looked after by Andy and the gang! Especially their lil sausage dawg
Studios amazing, beers even better!!
10/10
