Our 1st visit using a Groupon meal deal. Unfortunately the Salmon wasn't available so we both had Chineese belly pork on vegetables plus rice/chips.
Really good pub food! Very filling got served in good time. Friendly staff and good range of drinks will definitely be coming back more☀️😊
I was recommended to visit this pub the next time I was in Sheffield, and I am glad I did come and visit.
Whilst the kitchen closed, there was a great selection of drinks to choose from, and James was very knowledgeable about their current guest ales.
I stayed about an hour, it was pretty busy during my stay and they have a lovely outside area seating area which I think will come into full use in the warmer months.
Very easy to park, just be aware that you need to put you le registration into the tablet next to the bar. There is clear signage however it was nice to be reminded when I first stepped up to the bar.
All in all, a lovely experience, and will be a pub that I come back to when I am next in Sheffield, where I hope to try the food and given what I have experienced so far, I don’t think that I will be disappointed.

Visited the hammer and pincers last weekend for a meal and was greeted by a lovely girl named brooke her customer service skills were excellent and she went above and beyond to welcome us and accommodate to all our needs the food was also lovely !! Definitely reccomend this pub another bonus they are a dog friendly pub :)
Came in for a couple of pints today saw a young chap called Ash he was very welcoming while cleaning up outside pulls a smashing pint of moonshine also don’t think he’s from this pub as I’ve not seen him before but wonderful service
Always a pleasure coming to the hammer and pincers. Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, burgers and boneless chicken selects are some of the best I’ve tried. Today I’ve been in and the staff that have been on were flat out due to the amount of customers, Brooke, Sophie and James who were on today have been outstanding, made todays experience a pleasure. I will definitely be coming again.
A few items on the menu weren't available but the meals we ordered were great. Not expensive. Service was quick & friendly.
I had a lovely meal of a pub classic steak and chips. The portions are fair in size and decent food quality. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The car parking scenario is a bit wired, give your reg at the bar! otherwise a pleasant time in nice surroundings. I will visit here again.
Had a reduced "typed" menu yesterday. Poor ink quality. Offer of 2 meals for £11 not honoured, as it was a weekend BUT not mentioned on the replacement menu. Should have been a goodwill gesture for a reduced menu. Vegetarian lasagne was lovely, compliments to the chef. Had to request cutlery, but the waitresses were calm & approachable. Thank you 👍
