Had Christmas 🎄 dinner 🍽 here with the ball and chain ⛓️, and both my parents, service excellent, food excellent, atmosphere excellent. I was more than a little concerned that it would be a ping dinner 🍽! I was wrong! The food was all cooked fresh by Chef's, absolutely delicious meal, staff were absolutely faultless and nothing was too much trouble, so impressed we've made enquiries for next Christmas 🎄, and if all goes well we'll be there next year. Can't thank all the staff enough. Thankyou to you all, and a v happy new year. Very reasonable prices as well, also Moretti on draught as well.

Me and my mum had a perfectly fine time here. I enjoyed the room as the beds were comfy and the bathroom was decent with a large shower and plenty of space. While we stayed they had a singer and even a séance of sorts which was interesting and a bit of fun. Food was decent. Unfortunately one guy was locked out of his room after dark and he seemed to find it difficult to get hold of anyone but it didn’t seem like a common issue. For a place to stay this was plenty good and the staff were a friendly lot. Thanks!

We came up to stay for a wedding. The room was clean, well stocked and very spacious. The shower room was modern, little on the small side, I was on the toilet, my other half opened the door and smacked my toes. The staff were really friendly and we enjoyed a good chat with them until closing. Food was lovely, especially the breakfast. I highly recommend staying here if you have to go that way. It's a 15min walk from Chapel town.
