Great chippy! they cook when you order so it's never sat around for long periods of time, this may also be why when you bite into the fish it doesn't leak a ton of grease everywhere. My go to chippy on this road now.

Can't fault this place. Such a clean chippy inside and out. Everything is fresh and cooked perfect and not expensive at all. Friendly staff aswell!

Food was delicious mushy peas were creamy just how they should be (curry sauce was very good as well according to my partner), fish was fried on order which was fantastic. Chips were fluffy in the middle and crispy on the outside.
good value for money in my opinion (not sure where some of the other reviewers that mentioned price get there fish and chips from).
And the staff members were friendly and welcoming.
6/5 will visit again I’m sure.

Great new place! It is so nice having a chip shop that close to your house. I have ordered food from them 3 times now and has been delicious every time. Chips are nice and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, just like I like them the most, and most importantly, do not feel greasy at all! Very friendly staff too. Recommeded.

The best curry sauce I've ever had. My word. Portions aren't huge but actually it was the right size for a meal instead of piling it on then half going to waste. I had small fish and chips which in other chip shops has still been too much, but this was just right. Will definitely be back 👍

Friday nights have just evolved. Amazing fish and chips. Fish large and succulent. Chips, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Served by two of the most lovely people in Abbeydale.
