The food was excellent, the only reason I give 4 and not 5 *, is because online and on the menu given out, it says cauliflower cheese with vegetables and new potatoes, but it came without potatoes, and when I asked told that it did not come with potatoes. But the meal was nice, just would have been 100% with potatoes.

Visited The George for lunch, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Debbie behind the bar couldn't do enough to help. Would definitely recommend visiting if your in the area.

Fantastic little pub. Short and sweet place. The bar staff are very kind and chatty. Got a nice local feel to it. The music I heard the other night from Charlotte Smallwood was bloody brilliant. I had a very good time. Normally pubs make me uncomfortable I but this place made me feel like I'm at home.
