Great little coffee shop just a minute from the train station down a side street, quality coffee, freindly barista/owner and some delicious homemade cakes.

Stopped to grab a coffee and a a couple of slices of home made custard tarts. Wow, coffee will easily beat high street well know chains and if there was an award for "The best custard tart" you would definitely deserve it. Great customer service and tasty food and drink. Would highly recommend.

So happy I found this coffee shop! Patch makes the absolute best coffee I've had in a long time and his regularly changing selection of beans means I am introduced to lots of new and interesting flavours. 10/10 for The Colonel's Son Coffee's atmosphere, flavour and service. Superb!

One of the newest additions to Shrewsbury's coffee scene has quickly become one of its best. Nestled within a charming space in the town's Castle Quarter, The Colonels Son roasts a variety of small batch, single origin beans for all manner of coffee connoisseurs. Throw in some quality cakes and friendly service with a smile and you've got a superb little independent coffee shop. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem in Shrewsbury, check it out if you like good coffee. The espressos are the best I've had anywhere in the UK - it's introduced me to lots of different beans I'd never tried before.

I ordered a bag of the Moe Htet coffee beans, which had a rich taste and was great value for money compared to other roasteries I have previously ordered from. Patch kindly updated me regarding a minor delay in the shipping, which was not an issue but I appreciated the update regardless!

A lovely smooth and strong cup of coffee with a knock out dark chocolate brownie. No bitter after taste to either. Really looking forward to going back. Great service. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
