Went today for afternoon tea only booked an hour before well what can I say but it’s a hidden gem of a place our afternoon tea was the best I’d ever had all fresh and gorgeous tasting, friendly staff also and the place itself is lovely. Will be back again and the pods look amazing too so an overnight stay is on the cards too, they also have a lovely cocktail bar too which is lovely

Just had the most amazing afternoon tea yet again for a Mother’s Day treat with my lovely daughter Vicki, Mam, sister and niece. I had the traditional afternoon tea and the rest had the Parmo afternoon tea, all served with pot after pot of tea. Everything was so gorgeous and we were so full up, I even managed to take a doggy bag home for my husband ( he was buzzing).
My daughter is in a wheelchair and the owner is so accommodating and helpful in seating us in a suitable table. Will defo be back again and I will defo be changing my teabags ( thanks for the advice). Your tea is a proper cuppa �
First visit to Skelton Mill for a bite to eat. It is best if you phone and reserve a table. We chose steak pies and quiche which was just enough to be pleasantly full. The menu selection was varied from main meals to afternoon teas, which looked very good. Will definitely call again.
Called again, this time for afternoon tea for two. I joined as a third person and had parmo, chips and salad.
Food excellent.
For those people who like clamping pods, they are also available at Skelton Mill, I do not know the rates.
We stayed over in the Unice Lodge. It has x1 double bed and x3 single beds, and a dressing table with the kettle on. The toilet and shower room is out of the room to the right next to the hottub, we suggest you take towels as the rooms don't supply them. Also, take your Crocs or flip flops. The artificial grass gets a little soggy when you're out there from the hot tub if you need to access the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, just what you need after drinking 1 2 many Skittle cocktails. Great service, very helpful and friendly. Would recommend 👌
Stayed here for one evening in a chalet with a Hot-Tub as part of a larger party. We all had a great time, the owner & staff were great fun, very welcoming and very accommodating. I give the food a 5 on behalf of the whole party, as I didn't eat anything due to being rather intoxicated, not eating dinner, nor getting up for breakfast 🤣, I did however purchase a cream cake to take home, which was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here, a beautiful location which wouldn't feel out of place Cumbria way.

Perfect little corner of paradise. Staff are great food is awesome. There are lodges with hot tub and living caravan type places to stay the night. Children friendly, afternoon tea for two £30 children eat for £1 great little place for a Sunday afternoon treat. Check opening hours as they are not open all day. Play area is great but a little dangerous as the ground full of large/small stones around the pirate ship. Highly recommend by our family. #amazingdayZ #skeltonmill
We had a hen party here for my daughter we were made to feel very welcome. Dave even carried my very heavy suitcase across the gravel area to where the lodges were. We all had a great time with karaoke in the bar fabulous food and great atmosphere 👌🏽
This is a lovely little place, we had a one night stay in the lodge with private hot tub and breakfast included, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, food is great too.
Highly recommended and I'm sure we'll be returning again 👌🍾🥂
Just been for our first visit for Parmo Afternoon Tea, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service we received was second to none.
The waitress was super friendly and very welcoming...we didn't have any cash just card for payment and they had no problems with us nipping to Asda and returning to pay.

Beautiful set up which makes you feel a million miles away from reality! So peaceful and tranquil, ideal for a romantic getaway! The staff are really friendly and instantly make you feel welcome. The owner never stops! Whether he's checking in guests, taking care of the hot tubs and making the most delicious meals! Always has a smile on his face and up for a chin wag 😀 highly recommend Skelton Mills infact our 2nd trip was booked in on leaving!

Awesome Team was brilliant, Miss Natalie made Us to have the best experience We have ever had. Rooms and common areas where tidy and clean. Looking forward to go back and enjoy the hot tub. Can't say a bad word about this place. Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay here. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome by the owner who showed us around the grounds.
All the staff we met were very friendly and accommodating.
We stayed in the Queen Jade Gypsy caravan and it was clean and cosy.
We had our own private bathroom and hot tub which were both cleaned and maintained, and even had a little pod in our private area where you could sit to have a beer, this was a great touch.
The food was tasty (I'd recommend the chicken parmo it was really delicious) also very good pricing too!
The atmosphere was chilled and we relished the peace and quiet.
There is a disco on in the evening but it was finished at a respectable hour if that is not your thing.
Again, in the morning we were greeted very warmly and breakfast was served quickly, it was an ideal little brekkie served with tea and coffee. I bought a scone to bring home from the tea room and it was very good 😋
We will definitely come back as we had such a lovely experience and thought the whole day/night was excellent value for money.
