Went to Alexander’s on Sunday for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and savories were delicious. The cakes were absolutely devine. Gorgeous setting on the boatyard and interior is so pretty. Fabulous place to visit, highly recommend.

Fantastic afternoon spent in this bistro. The homemade food was excellent, especially the lemon drizzle cake and scones. Would definitely recommend.

We held our sons wedding reception here, Manda went far beyond what was expected of her to make the day absolutely perfect, the wedding breakfast for 30 people was so well organised and food superb, leading into the night where we had use of Deacons boat yard and a party for 80 guests of which Manda, Alex and staff catered so wonderfully for, Manda even found time to make a outstanding cake, I cannot thank them all enough.

Small place in a working boat yard so interesting to people watch. Dog friendly space outside. The full English is fab and really good value. Been to a baby shower there which was lovely and so much food we took some home!

Nice coffee and food, young boy from staff very friendly but the blond lady not that nice i just asked for a toilet first because not all places have it and she said its not public toilet and we have to pay. I answered that we are staying for a meal anyway but I think it was quite rude.
