Tucked between an art gallery and a picturesque park, Mettricks was immediately an interesting place.
Inside was a vibrant cooky decor with an open kitchen.
The staff were very friendly, the prices were low (at least for nowadays) and the portion sizes were rather large.
The coffee is to die for, and learning its fully prepared on site makes it that much sweeter.
I'd fully recommend this place to waste away an afternoon in, or a spot for a pristine luncheon.
Absolutely cracking full English. Everything was perfectly cooked and the sausage and bacon were great quality. Nothing wrong with the service, but you have to order at the bar which is a shame when you're ordering food
Given it was graduation day in the area I was surprised at how quickly food came.
Friendly staff, great brunch menu, tasty food (went for the smoked salmon, cream cheese and pickles bagel with hash brown bites) and good coffee. What’s not to like. Glad it was recommended to me.
