Hi quality service, well organised and made very easy to travel. No need for tickets or booking ref. Upon arrival by the entrance, an Automatic Plate Recognition Camera brings all the info to the staff members, and they will direct you to the correct lane, while waiting for loading.
Loading starts 15min before departure time so I would recommend to be around 20min before your booked slot.
On my way back from the Isle of Wight I called to ask if it is possi le to travel at a later time, and a very polite person on the other aide of the phone helped me very efficiently to postpone my ferry 3,5h.
I am very satisfief with the service.
The cabun inside is warm and clean.
Food prices on board are inflated a lot so grab your snacks from the lokal shops before boarding.
Lovely way to cross over to the Isle of Wight. The ferry takes cars and vans too. Inside there are multiple decks serving food and drinks or you can sit up top in the open and enjoy the sea air and views. It’s takes about an hour to do the crossing. Ferries are punctual and staff friendly and efficient.

The food onboard is surprisingly good, the fries were so nice I didn't buy any when on the island, waited for the return to treat myself.
This is the first time we traveled with Red Funnel Ferries and had a great experience. The service was on time and staff are super friendly. We have initially missed our scheduled ferry due to a family member fall sick and they were happy to accommodate us in the next available ferry by putting in wait list.
Hi, Well organised and No Hassel to onboard or return. Entry check office would recognise the number plate of the vehicle and let you in immediately. No need to show any document or reference number required if you're on time or bit early. Please be informed all Fridays would be crowded and not easy to book a slot for onboard or return. If you are late for the booked slot, you may get the slot in the late evening or the next day. But the reservation booking or ticket says we can return anytime within working hours. I wish my host would have informed us earlier. Inside the boat you have all the amenities and maintened very well. Staffs are polite and professional.

My return journeys went as clock work. Nice amenities on board and plenty of comfortable seating. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Will definitely use again.
Very happy with the service smooth from start to finish ,we paid for the lounge which was nice peaceful and relaxing great coffee and pastries,fruit , juice and water,the hour journey was soon over .many thanks.
Loved it. It's my first time to ferry with the car and enjoyed it. Seating rrangment is good. Outdoor seats and hangout available. If it's not raining, it's good.

It is quite and spacious, so you can work if that is important for you.
The lounge offer free drinks and a small manue...just enough to set you right.
Great service with plenty of amenities available to purchase. 2 decks for many types of vehicles. Nice view from the top deck and plenty of seating around. Great price for crossing over to the Isle of Wight. Would recommend going over to the island through this ferry. (Be very cautious if you do choose to fly a drone onboard).
