Food was amazing and it was good value. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We celebrated a birthday for a child and staff let us bring our own cake. It was a lovely experience.
First time visiting very friendly staff on greeting which was a good sign 👊🏻 it was very busy and was asked to wait at the bar for a drink which we loved sitting at the bar watching the cocktails being made 🤟🏻, only had to wait 20 min and table was free , Laura was our server she was amazing and very kind , amazing pizza I make my own pizza at home on the pizza oven and Theres was spot on pizza 👌🏻 had the best view right by the pizza guys making all the pizza so much fun to watch I would recommend 100% will be back , good food good drinks amazing place very clean 10/10
A spontaneous trip here due to all trains being cancelled to Bournemouth on my way back from uni in Portsmouth. I explained the situation and asked for a table with a charger so that I could make sure my devices were charged before going off into the Southampton night without any way of knowing how I would be getting home and they couldn't have been any more accommodating. Sorting me out with a table close to a plug so I could have my laptop and phone plugged in. All the staff were so friendly and very attentive. I had the steak and mango salad which I wasn't sure would really go but I gave it a try and it was excellent! And an excellent service from the team. Thank you so much, will definitely be back for a 3rd time (the last time I got one of the pizzas which were incredible and massive! Especially for the price) thoroughly recommend.
Great experience at this L’Osteria location; excellent portion sizes, good value for money and a decent restaurant atmosphere. Very happy overall and would definitely return and recommend to both friends and family. I advise booking as this restaurant can be very busy. The pizza ordered was of high quality and a respectable amount of effort was made in the care both producing and presenting the food and drink, see photos.
Incredible pizza!! Massive in size and very thin! I am Italian I am very picky about my pizza, but I must admit this is a 9 of 10.
We had a sprits as well but that one wasn’t very good. The waiter kindly took it off the bill.
The staff is very pleasant and they say hi and goodbye in Italian.

I was in the mood for some Italian food for dinner and decided to come here. I ordered Orecchiette Di Manso Al Limone and a ginger mojito. The mojito was very refreshing. As for the pasta, it was filling, the meat was tender, and I loved that there was a spicy kick to it. Overall, the meal was delicious at a good price. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy Italian cuisine while in Southampton, this is an option for you. Definitely recommend!
A fantastic Italian dining experience. Recommended by our granddaughter on a recent trip to Southampton. The food was excellent. I had spaghetti carbonara. The place as buzzing but service was excellent. Highly recommended. Will definitely go again.
Absolutely outstanding service received from this restaurant. They went above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend had a lovely birthday surprise. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The Pizzas are amazing!!!!! Highly recommend this place.
Gigantic pizzas and really tasty. Raspberry lemonade was good but the straw was paper and almost melted into my drink I'd prefer a metal one.
