I tried Golden Pond on Friday as my normal Chinese takeaway was closed and I was scared to try it out. I’ve got to say that it has outnumbered my expectations and this is now my go to Chinese takeaway. The food was lovely and had an amazing flavour. I normally go to the China Garden and the chicken chow mein is quite bland however this chicken chow mein has got amazing flavours and it’s not as greasy. I highly recommend getting food from here. The banana fritters were also lovely. The delivery woman was also a pleasant person to speak to.

Ordered a few dishes this evening, prawn curry, sweet and sour chicken balls.kung po prawns, pancake roll ,fried rice. Must say was lovely, nice and hot, this was for two people. , chicken balls were nice and dry and tasty. All the other dishes were nice a as well. Will be ordering again and recommending. Cheers
