Blu Mar

My friend and I thought the octopus was fabulous!! Also the Squid ink zuppa de pesce was out of this world. Blueberry Mojito excellent. Atmosphere service great. But oddly enough I need to agree with. Other reviewers the pizza was awful!! Spongy tastes frozen -the chef owner needs reality testing Perhaps the pizza maker is not the same chef as the one that made The seafood pasta & octopus. It is very hard two make tender well seasoned Grilled octopus & a really delicious sauce & seafood combo. My husband is from sicily & we cheat buy focaccia fresh. -ship from balthazar & then put cheese & sauce you cant go wrong. Better small & fresh than large & spongy 😀 ps please dont yell at me we did not send the pizza backjust want to help

The staff was just absolutely amazing. They treated us as if we were royalty. The food was an extravaganza. The combinations of tastes and textures and presentation. A simple dish like Brussels sprouts became a complex medley of sweet punctuated by the addition of grapes. This simple dish was a journey. This is a must go to spot here!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We came here for a birthday party with 20 people. When we walked in - we were greeted by the friendliest staff, the table decorated, menu customized to say happy birthday Arianna, the manager sent out complimentary champagne, and everyone sang happy birthday with sparklers. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Not the mention the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Anytime you are in the Hamptons come to Blu Mar!

Best restaurant in the Hamptons (and I have been to them all;), bar none. Excellent food handled with such attentiveness, not thrown at you like other places when "busy" or in "high season." Our mussels and lobster were simply sublime! So fresh and delicious, you could tell the chef took pride in his work. Respecting the quality ingredients and highlighting them with true consideration that brought them to culinary perfection. Bright aromatics surrounded the mussels that burst with flavor. Garnished with crispy-baked bread the whole table raved about. The lobster, not over-cooked but prepared just til tender, then lightly tossed with a cream sauce that did not over-power, yet rather made the lobster taste even more delicately decadent. However, the real star of the show here besides the obvious food and chef, is the service. I can not sing the praises enough of our server, Mia and quite possibly the most joyously-kind and jubilant bartender I have ever come across, David. Both were so welcoming and warm, making our experience one we will never forget. Drinks made perfectly and each dish and request handled without so much as a blink of an eye. Spritzes that make you dream of Italy and muddled berries that remind you it is finally spring. Plates brought out piping hot with the most refreshing of libations to wash it all down with. If you are lucky enough to get either of these two your time at Blu Mar will no doubt be unforgettable. Honestly both Mia and David are one in a billion and made our time here a beautiful memory, not just a meal. If you want the freshest of food with unparalleled people who really care then look no further then Blu Mar. Highly recommend and then some!

I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and was so happy that I did. I could not have been happier with my decision with a restaurant for my wife's birthday. The service right off the bat was just amazing. We felt so taken care of from walking into the restaurant to asking for the check. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the grilled sliced ribeye steak, and both entrees blew mind. We are huge foodies and this restaurant is an absolute must if you are in Southampton, NY! Will 1000% be back many more times in the future! Can't wait!
