Came here for a toastie over lunch. Great atmosphere and I imagine it’ll be very cool at nights. Owner and team are super friendly and the food is reasonably priced. First visit to Southampton and will be back to check out this place at night!
Now closed where I took these photos and moved to a new location in the city at the bottom of the Hight Street opposite the Hollyrood Church.
I had to try this new place. Located at the top of London Road opposite the Law Court. I’m really impressed by the quality of decor, the staff and the lunch.
For lunch, I had a Tuna mayonnaise granary bread baguette with red onion and rocket salad. It was really nice.
I’m very much looking forward to bringing some friends back for an evening with some live music.

Newest addition to London road. This is a beautiful bar with a great atmosphere. They regularly have live music and 2-1 cocktails. The only downside is that the signature cocktail menu doesn't actually have any whiskey cocktails.
Brilliant staff and atmosphere. Went on a Friday and the staff did an excellent job of tending to us despite how busy it was. Would definitely recommend
Wife and I went in on a Saturday evening for a boogie without idiot kids as suggested by a doorman in Oxford Street..we got that alright..
A surreal experience...did I walk out feeling like a young Harry potter or an even older victor meldrew.?..it's been two weeks now, and I still can't make up my mind..weird..
So...yeah, it's memorable...and yeah, this is a much older clientele..
I will be back.. though not sure why..
Beware..it's only open until 11pm.
And the music, although good, suffers from being played in what is essentially a stone walled, high ceilinged building with zero soft furnishings..therefore a very echoey sound..if like me, you are a soundey, it is an issue...
This place was so kool. Jazz night, and they did not disappoint. What a great experience on a Sunday night!

The best location for small gigs with friendly staff and customers. Some really good bands, djs and singers, and also drinks at reasonable prices. 100% recommended and have a dance
Popped in for Sunday roast. It was delicious! Staff are super friendly and they encouraged our daughter to do the open mic evening. So nice to have a place that is chilled, cool, friendly and importantly encouraging live music for all. Really like it here.
